Introducing our Chief Nurse: Carolyn Gorman, BSN, RN

At BD Medication Management Solutions (MMS), we understand the critical role nurses serve in our shared work to advance medication management to be safer, simpler and smarter across the care continuum.

To that end, I’m pleased to announce the new role of Chief Nurse for MMS to engage nurse leaders across forward-thinking health systems and drive customer collaboration with our end-to-end solutions for managing medication preparation, dispensing, and infusion.

Carolyn Gorman BSN, RN has been with BD for 18 years and most recently served as Senior Director, Clinical Sales Consulting at MMS. She brings significant clinical expertise and over 15 years of nursing experience, with a focus on pediatric open-heart surgery. 

In her new role as Chief Nurse, Carolyn will lead MMS’ Center of Excellence, working closely with customers and industry thought leaders to help transform medication management and support automated workflows that can improve medication safety.
