Overview

The Fixed Core Guidewires are constructed from the following basic elements; a coil, a core wire, a safety wire, a lubricious coating, and a tube. The guidewires are made of stainless steel, with or without Teflon (PTFE) coating, and a fixed core. The distal, J curved tip of the guidewire features the ability to be finger straightened from any point of the wire shaft. The ends of the guidewire are secured and polished for strength and smoothness. These wires have the core wire welded to the end furthest away from the "J" Tip.
