Ushering in a new era of health care, together

 The nurse is at the forefront of everything that happens with the patient. They are the backbone of care. At BD, I can still be part of the action to produce the results.

Helping others and making a meaningful difference – it’s all I’ve ever wanted to do. From my humble beginnings as a candy striper to my various leadership roles in nursing, I’ve experienced the pressure that comes with the responsibility of caring for others. Challenges are a constant for nurses, from bedside care to leading a department. Nurses deal with complexities heightened by staffing shortages and workflow; they need to make sense of greater volumes of data and learn how to incorporate ever-evolving technology.

In my role, as VP of Clinical Transformation at BD, I am focused on understanding customer needs and finding BD solutions to help bridge them.
