Kaushik Ray serves as Business Director, India and South Asia for the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) business at BD, (Becton, Dickinson, and Company), a leading global medical technology company headquartered in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. Kaushik also leads the next-tier (NT) initiative at BD India corporate level that focuses on expanding the geographic reach for BD in India.
In the current role, Kaushik is responsible for shaping the strategy of MDS and for ensuring the unit’s operational, commercial, and financial performance in South Asia. Prior to the current role, Kaushik has been Associate Director, Sales and was instrumental in driving the MDS business with double digit growth.
Kaushik has over 20 years of experience in healthcare and diverse industries. Before joining BD in 2019, Kaushik has worked in Smith & Nephew and J&J, handling various Sales and Marketing leadership roles in India and Asia Pacific.
Kaushik earned his bachelor’s degree in marine engineering from Marine Engineering and Research Institute and a Master's degree in Business Administration from Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore.
In his free time, Kaushik likes to watch sports and read books.
