BD and Safer Sleep LLC are committed to enhancing user experience and simplifying workflow with both BD range of infusion pumps and SAFERsleep^® OR Anaesthetic Information Management Systems (AIMS).

With this in mind, we are pleased to announce the commencement of an integration project that enables automated documentation of infusion data from the BD Alaris™ PK Infusion Pump platform to the SAFERsleep^® OR AIMS. This interface capability will reduce the need for manual input currently associated with total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA). This development supports greater efficiency, accuracy and completeness of information for anaesthetic record keeping, as well as having key information available to help make informed decisions in a faster and more efficient way. This improved workflow will help enhance patient safety.
