BD SurePath™ liquid-based Pap test

Safe and Effective:

	BD SurePath™ Pap test uses an ethanol-based proprietary preservative that is non-carcinogenic so you don’t have to be concerned with handling or storing the vial.

	Proprietary BD SurePath™ Cell Enrichment process reduces obscuring material,enabling a clear view for visualization of diagnostically relevant cells.

BD PrepStain™ Slide Processor provides significant advantages for your laboratory.

Safety:
	The BD SurePath™ process helps ensure chain of custody through barcode labels, scanning and tracking of sample; ensuring same sample from vial-to-slide.
	A closed system. Once the vial is sealed by the sample collector, it is never reopened during processing. Unique puncture top BD SurePath™ vial mixes and dispenses without human interaction.
	BD SurePath™ preservative has less than 24% Ethanol, is classified as non-hazardous for transport, and is an ideal medium for maintaining cellular morphology.
Less Worry:
	Proprietary BD SurePath™ Cell Enrichment process reduces obscuring material such as blood, mucous and inflammatory cells, enabling a clear view for visualization of diagnostically relevant cells.
	Statistically significant reduction in Unsatisfactory cases².
Workflow Efficiency:
