BD Helps All People live Healthy Lives...Even on the Touch Arena! BD recently sponsored the Balmain Senior Mixed Touch Football Team at the 20th State Cup Championships held on 5th, 6th & 7th December 2008 at Port Macquarie. The State Cup is held the first weekend in December each year and it is one of the preimer touch football tournaments in Australia. Teams are mostly from NSW but the tournament does attract other Australian States and International teams to the 3 Day competition. The Senior Mixed side finished 4th in their respective pool to make the quarter finals on Day 3. They knocked out the top team, Port Macquarie 1 in the quarter finals, went on to knock out Port Macquarie 2 in the semi-finals and found themselves in a finals show-off against Taren Point. The Balmain side went down fighting in the final 5-2 to become the State's Runners Up for 2008.
