The BD Injection Education Program: A program to reinforce and standardize injection technique

As a clinician, you know that giving an injection can involve a complex series of decisions. That's why BD has developed the Injection Education Program, a collection of current informational and educational materials for administering skin injections. These materials are designed to reinforce proper practices, standardize techniques, and provide safety guidelines for the best possible patient outcomes.

Comprehensive and Authoritative
The components of this self-contained program come from well-respected authors and publishers of healthcare educational curriculum, such as Prentice Hall, Lippincott Williams and Wilkins (Springhouse Publications), and the American Society of HealthSystem Pharmacists, along with expertise and materials provided by BD, the world's leading manufacturer of syringes and needles.

Specifically, the kit contains organized, easy-to-use resources including a comprehensive tutorial offering nurses 1.0 contact hours of credit, clinical and drug guides, videos, literature, quick-reference materials, and an accessory pack of demonstration and practice products.

A program Mini Kit is also available. The mini kit includes the tutorial, wall charts, and quick reference cards. The Synthetic Forearm Training Aid (Nasco) is sold separately.
